In this beautiful play adapted by Dr. Karen Dresser, the audience will learn the life story of Hannah Senesh, the Jewish poet who immigrated from Hungary to Palestine and parachuted into Yugoslavia to free imprisoned Jews.

This play features live performances of two of Hannah's poems; Eli, Eli and Ashrei Hagafur. It stars a cast of sixth graders who have been rehearsing the play for over six months.
